From Graphic Novel to Feature Film
Do you have a manuscript, graphic novel or comic book or even a real life story that you would like to make into a movie? Screenwriting teacher Pilar Alessandra will be teaching the key points from her "Adaptation" class. She'll focus on the story structures found in adapted material and ways to go about adapting books, comics and real life to the screen.

PILAR ALESSANDRA
Pilar was named "Cream of the Crop" in Creative Screenwriting Magazine's Script Consultant Guide and was one of LA Weekly's Top 100 People. Pilar is the director of the Los Angeles writers' studio On the Page, Inc. ® and the host of the On the Page podcast.
Her students and clients have written for Lost, Prison Break, Nip/Tuck and Family Guy. They have sold features and pitches to Warner Bros., DreamWorks, Disney, and Sony. They've also won the Nicholl Fellowship and Austin Screenwriting Competition.

KEVIN GREVIOUX
Actor & Screenwriter Kevin Grevioux is the creator of the mega successful Underworld franchise, which grossed over $440 million worldwide. Kevin has acting credits in several roles in television, film and commercials, appearing in the Underworld films as a lycan, Raze.
Kevin’s writing credits include Marvel Comics' New Warriors volume 4, Adam: Legend of the Blue Marvel, and ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction for Red 5 Comics.
He has just wrapped production on his latest graphic novel to film adaptation of Kevin’s Darkstorm Studios graphic novel, I, Frankenstein produced by Lakeshore Entertainment. The film’s U.S. release is set for September 13, 2013.
